Philadelphia not only contains the "most historic square mile in the country", but it is also a rejuvenated destination with more to offer in the coming years.

In the mid '90's, Philadelphia moved its Convention Center into Center City. This move brought an increase in hotels, restaurants and venues to the City. Venues, both old and new, learned the importance of throwing the "perfect event".

The future of Philadelphia as a destination is looking brighter with the expansion of the Convention Center. By 2011, the Center will be one of the largest spaces along the East Coast.

Even with this expansion and magnificent museums and venues, the history of Philadelphia must not be forgotten. The "founding fathers" formed America in buildings such as Independence Hall and Carpenters Hall. They worshipped in Christ Church and ate at the City Tavern. All worthy of a visit!
